About
Peace & Plenty Farm is a historic organic farm known for its California-grown saffron, farm stays, seasonal events, and commitment to regenerative agriculture.
The goal of the new website was to showcase the beauty and personality of the farm while supporting multiple business objectives — promoting the online farm stand, increasing bookings for farm stays and events, and highlighting the photography, videos, recipes, and stories that make the farm unique. The site needed to feel warm, welcoming, and authentic while reflecting the farm's recognition in national publications and media outlets.
Design Direction
Using the existing logo as a foundation, I developed a simple, modern visual system designed to support—not compete with—the farm's photography and video content. A restrained color palette, clean typography, and minimal design details keep the focus on the imagery while creating a bright, inviting experience. The overall aesthetic balances the polish of a modern lifestyle brand with the authenticity and charm of a working farm.
The Outcome
The finished site captures the spirit of Peace & Plenty Farm — vibrant, inviting, and rooted in community. Rich visual storytelling, intuitive navigation, and clear pathways to key offerings help visitors explore the farm's products, events, accommodations, and educational content with ease.
The result is a flexible platform that supports the farm's continued growth while bringing its story, mission, and everyday life to the forefront.
